Sisters at the service of the Congregation.
The mission of Sister Aurora Torres and her council is to animate and encourage communion in the Congregation. They ensure the implementation of the orientations from the XXV General Chapter.
The XXV General Chapter was held in our house in Rome in May 2019. The sisters spent almost a month listening to the Spirit, with the desire to continue in fidelity to offer our charism to the world.
Sister Vielka Rivera, our General Bursar, is part of this team and together, we accompany the Congregation, along with the sisters and lay people who collaborate in different ways.

"Protected by Mary, our Mother, without fear of danger... we will cross the seas to proclaim the name of Jesus, his mercy and his love in the most distant lands". (TF - Letter 2 July, nº 13)

Genesis 1:27: “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.”
My experience of living diversity affirms that; Different as we are, we all add to the rich treasure of humanity. Our foundress blessed Emily understood and instilled this value to her first 10 companions. Living diversity has opened a whole world before me.It is giving me opportunity, to continue embracing my strengths and my vulnerability, as well as that of others.
It is helping me to move from I to we, which is a continuous process of conversion. It is my believe that l am a woman for others. This inspires me to live this service with generosity and trust in God and the universe. The African proverb affirms this”. Wisdom is like fire; people take it from others."
A lot of resources l cherish today, l have received them from others.

In Mary, the first Reparatrice, we see what we must be in order to respond to our vocation with a heart like hers: Generous in love, joyful in self-giving and renunciation, always in the service of the Kingdom. (Constitution No. 4)
From the beginning, this phrase from our rule of life (constitutions) has both challenged and inspired me and given me new life. I am grateful to God for the gift of my vocation to Marie Reparatrice, for experiencing the tenderness of God’s love for me and for all of creation and for the awareness of and desire to share this love with others, especially with my brothers and sisters most in need.
I currently serve as a member of the General Council in Rome, for the pastoral and administrative leadership of the Congregation, and I feel called to share this joy, compassion and tender love of God with everyone I meet, in a simple way, like Mary, always in the service of God’s Kingdom.

"I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have kept these things hidden from the wise and prudent and revealed them to the simple. Yes, Father, it seemed good to you" (Mt 11,25).
I identify with this text, which expresses well the experience of my life, and of my growth as a woman, as a Christian and as a repairer at the side of the simple people in Latin America.
With them I learned to follow Jesus and to identify myself with his Kingdom. Together with them, I discovered the charism of reparation alive in me as a treasure that I want to take care of, offer and share in order to build a more human world, where the face of God is present. Together with the sisters, I have lived the smr community as a sign of the Kingdom of God, of communion and solidarity.
Now, from this service at the general level, I continue to feel called to care for life and to continue building communion from a more universal experience. And I continue to say: "I praise you Father ....".
Lord, you have said: My love endures forever (Psalm 88,3).
