TRANSFORMATION PROCESS/TESTIMONIES OF OUR ELDER SISTERS FROM CANADA, FRANCE, BELGIUM, ITALY/SPAIN, SWITZERLAND, MEXICO, COLOMBIA/PANAMA/PERU, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, IRLAND, GREAT BRITAN AND SWEDEN.
I am grateful to God for the gift of our congregation especially our elder sisters who opened up to share with us their experiences which were encouraging and left me with joy, hope and sadness as I heard some of our houses lessening but I have to accept the reality.
Reflecting deep on their testimonies I felt enriched and touched by their attitudes of openness to accept the realities and the availability for the new mission which have enabled them to let go of the past and live the present according to the will of God in their life. This is encouraging and I have learnt that the present time in our life is a blessing so, I should profit from it to do the mission entrusted to me by using my gifts for the common good of us all and for the greater glory of God without reserve or counting the cost, also to be ready to welcome whatever comes on my way with a positive attitudes.
The spirit of weaving threads of tenderness as a family through dialogue, attentive listening, discernment, respect, gratitude and being in communion with one another caught my attention and I feel that have been a moment for me to strengthen my way of living a life of inculturation without distinction of class, race, tribe or appearance of a person but to treat everybody equally with understanding and mutual support.
It is also helping me to live a joyful life with others by repairing the wounded world full of injustices and insecurity by respecting and appreciating others in our uniqueness and I pray that by the grace of God I may live according to our Charism.
Thank you, united in prayer.
