CHICLAYO - 23 YEARS AFTER

2026-09-14

“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his mercy endures forever!” (Psalm 136:1)

With hearts full of gratitude, the Chiclayo Team would like to share what we experienced during this unforgettable Gathering with the Reparatrix Family.

What began as an idea filled with nostalgia and affection gradually took shape as the months went by: the preparations, the meetings, the conversations with the members, the posters, the slogans, the photos; yet God surpassed us in generosity… How can we ever repay the Lord for all the good He has done for us?

It was a time to see each other again, embrace one another, reconnect, and smile at such beloved faces, reliving memories and experiences that have left their mark on our lives.

Perhaps the mothers (as we called them) in their mission in Chiclayo, from their home at “Los Parques,” did not imagine how much good they were doing and all that they were sowing; that is why, at this Gathering—in every song, every round of applause, every name mentioned, and every detail—we wanted them to know and feel that their time in Chiclayo was worth it, that their love left its mark, and that their Reparatrix charism will remain alive forever.

This gathering was not only a reunion with the Reparatrix family; it was also a reunion with our own history, with what we received from them, and with so many memories that we relived in every embrace and every glance.

Thank you, sisters, for all the good you have sown. Thank you for who you were, for what you did, and for what you continue to do for us even from where you are now.

Years may pass, distances may separate us, and our paths may change, but the good done with love remains forever.

Twenty-three years later, Chiclayo says to you once again: Thank you! Thank you… for having left here a part of your life, your dedication, your teachings, and your heart.

Thank you for all the good you sowed, which, even after so many years, continues to bear fruit. Today, with hearts full of gratitude, we can only say: Thank you, Lord, for you are good, for your mercy endures forever!
