Missionaries of Marie Réparatrice / Mary Reparatrix

born around 2004

The group of Missionaries of Reparation was born around 2004, in Lima, Peru, from contact with the Life and Mission of the Reparatrice Sisters. We were young people who were being formed in the charism of Reparation. We began with meetings in the community of Naranjal, with prayer and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, days spent with the sisters, formation in the charism of Reparation and above all formation for mission.

We were attracted by the missionary sense of the charism of Reparation. From there we live our vocation, to be missionaries in reparation. We make this concrete, by being close to the neediest people, by being present amongst the most abandoned.  In the beginning, we were present in the communities of La Ensenada, Ramiro Prialé and Señor de los Milagros and now we are also present in Nueva Fortaleza, to visit families, the sick, to meet with the children, to share celebrations of the Word, mission to celebrate Holy Week and Easter, etc.

Some of the first missionaries are also part of the group, Volunteers in Reparation and work in ‘La Ensenada’ Community, with the Casa Betania Project.

New generations of young people now form part of the group of missionaries of Marie Reparatrice, with the desire to make God's tenderness known throughout the world.

To be a Missionary of Marie Reparatrice is to repair by sharing our life, being close to the Sisters of Marie Reparatrice, in our life of Mission and Solidarity.
